Fruit crumbles are my favourite thing to make by just winging it each time for an easy-to-prepare dessert and to “go by hunch”. Always satisfying with that scoop of ice-cream, too.

So buttery and so bad, but so good. Maybe it’s time I cut back on the obscene amount of butter for the oatmeal crumble bits…

  1. Apple and blackberry. I’ve successfully made a crumble with coconut oil instead of butter before. Delicious and much healthier :) or just, you know… go with the butter.
