Sew Me Something: Maroon Polka Dots

* It was a great learning piece! Despite the few sewing kinks and defective print on fabric (last image), I’m loving this midriff gathered dress.
* The zipper is 19″ instead of a recommended 22″. It is a bit of a squeeze…
* Also, happy to have moved away from my usual sewing pattern company, Burda — considering it a little graduation.
* I am reminded of scrubs or nurses’ uniform… But let’s focus on the positive :D

Pattern: Butterick B5640, adding inseam pockets
Material: ~2.50 metres of lightweight cotton bought in Singapore
Time taken: 3 days, July 01-03.
